Box Culvert Drainage

Application Description:

Box culverts are prefabricated concrete structures that are used to channel water. They are used to create short span bridges, tunnels and storm water conveyance structures. Not all box culvert applications require a drainage system to prevent hydrostatic head pressure. Critical structures like bridges and tunnels would require a drainage system to maintain their structural integrity.

J•DRAIN drainage composites are engineered to capture water and reduce hydrostatic pressure while efficiently channeling the water away. The three dimensional core creates a high compressive strength and high flow capacity drainage channel and the fused filter fabric prevents soil intrusion into the flow channel.
