Application Description:

Building a new or adding to an existing water treatment plant require a variety of concrete containment structures to be constructed below grade. Preventing subsurface water from entering into these concrete structures and eliminating hydrostatic head pressure is critical.

J•DRAIN drainage composites are engineered to capture water and reduce hydrostatic pressure while efficiently channeling the water away. The three dimensional core creates a high compressive strength and high flow capacity drainage channel and the fused filter fabric prevents soil intrusion into the flow channel.
